On July 4, 2019, the 66th EGA business conference (stands for the Emerging Global Area – Developing country with global vision) took place in Da Nang city.
With the goal: “To create opportunities to exchange information and explore cooperation and trade development opportunities between Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises”, the conference attracted the attention of more than 100 businesses in Da Nang and 150 investors from Japan.
This EGA Business Conference were attended by Mr. Ho Ky Minh – Vice Chairman of Da Nang people’s committee; representatives of Da Nang investment promotion and support board, Da Nang tourism promotion center, economic experts, representatives of companies in Da Nang; especially business representatives from Japanese companies and corporations.
It is known that Japan is currently the leading country investing in Da Nang with 180 projects; its total investment is nearly 890 million USD. Many Japanese businesses have planned to expand long-term trade and investment in Vietnam.
At the conference, Japanese investors were also informed about the potential and looked for cooperation opportunities, trade & investment promotion in some areas in Da Nang and the demands of Japanese businesses once coming to this city.
Accordingly, Da Nang enterprises in the areas of business process outsourcing services, supporting technology, IT, education, real estate, etc. also expressed the desire to cooperate with Japanese enterprises to expand markets, access technology and new management models.
This conference was also an opportunity for BPO.MP to exchange & expand relationships with potential investors from Japan and introduce company’s leading supporting services & outsourcing services to Japanese enterprises such as data digitization, data entry and data processing, DTP image processing, data labeling, financial & accounting services, content writing services, translation & interpretation, human resource services, etc. which can be applied in various areas. Thereby, it increases opportunities for business cooperation as well as builds relationships of mutual support in the near future.
